“Any person who engages in or participates in a race upon the streets with any vehicle, horse, mule, or team must on conviction be punished……”

“All owners and tenants of landed property in the City of Demopolis are hereby required to keep the sidewalks in front of and adjoining such property clean.”

“… it shall be unlawful for any person in the City of Demopolis or within the police jurisdiction thereof to walk upon the streets or sidewalks or public places indecently attired, or to stand or sit at the door, open window, or gate or on the steps of any house or home or in any public place in an indecent position or lewd manner, or for any person to appear in a public place in a state of nudity, or to appear in public in the dress of the other sex, or in any other indecent or lewd manner, or to expose his or her person in an indecent manner, or to do an obscene or indecent act.”

“It shall not be lawful for any female to be on the streets, alleys, commons, or thoroughfares of the city without a male escort between the hours of 10 o’clock p.m. and 4:30 a.m. during the months beginning with September and ending with April accept that on Sunday nights the hour shall be extended to 11 o’clock, and between the hours of 11 o’clock p.m. and 4 o’clock a.m. during the months beginning with May and ending with August.
