The Rooster Bridge Becomes History

In 1919 the auction of roosters provided money to build this bridge.  It was demolished in 1980.

The charges are set off to bring the 61 year old bridge to her end.

The lift span now rests on the bottom of the river.  In a few weeks there will be nothing left of the famous bridge.
